    The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science offers 4 main programs, which are;

    Biological Science Program
    The Biological Science Program is a one year course under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. This program is offered to students from science stream to further their studies in Bachelor Degree Program after completing the course. The subjects introduce in this program are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. After completing the program, successful students are placed into various science based courses in the local universities by the Ministry

    Physical Science Program
    The Physical Science Program is a one year course under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. This program is offered to students from technical science stream to further their studies in Bachelor Degree Program after completing the course. The subjects introduce in this program are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science. After completing the program, successful students are placed into various science-based courses in the local universities by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia as listed below:

    Built Environment Program
    The Built Environment Program is a one year course under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. This program is offered to students from the arts and science streams to further their studies in Faculty of Built Environment after completing the course in programs listed below:
    Architecture
    Quantity Surveying
    Building Surveying
    Estate Management

    Special Preparatory Program to Enter the Japanese Universities
    The Special Preparatory Program to Enter the Japanese Universities is a two years intensive program under the Look East Policy Division of the Public Service Department of Malaysia; in cooperation with the Japanese Government, after which students will continue with their degree programs at the universities in Japan.

    At the end of the 4th semester, students in this program will sit for EJU Examination for intake into Japanese Universities. Some of the popular courses chosen by the successful candidates are as follows:
    (a) Engineering Discipline
    Electric & electronic, electronic information, information communication, mechanical, mechanical system, system, information.
    (b) Science
    Physics, chemistry, mathematics, biotechnology.
    (c) Medicine and Dentistry

    Among the prominent Japanese Universities that have accepted students from this programme are Tokyo University, Kyushu University, Kyoto University, Nagoya University, Waseda University, Osaka University and Kobe University.
