Change Programme
1. Can I change my offered programme at UM?

No. The offered programme is final, and changes are not allowed.

If there are multiple offered given by UM, what do I need to do?

For examples two programmes offered: UM Foundation and UM JPA scholarship, student must choose within the date of acceptance given. Failure to accept within the given deadline indicate that the student declined the offer letter given.

Withdrawal of Programme
1. How to withdraw?
  - Only student with ‘Ready to Enroll’ Status is eligible to apply
  - Log in to MAYA portal (maya.um.edu.my)
  - Go to Enrolment > Enrolment Amendments
  - Select Programme Withdrawal
  - State Reason for Withdrawal
  - Upload supporting documents (scholarship/institution offer letter)
  - Click Submit
  - PASUM will review the request and seek approval from the Admission Office

Study Deferment
1. What condition allow for deferment?

ONLY allow for Medical reasons → Email a medical certificate to akademik_pasum@um.edu.my. Students must accept the offer and complete self-enrollment first before requesting deferment

Module Registration
1. Can I register and activate my status late than the given deadline?
2. All students MUST register and activate their status within the given timeline. Late registration may incur a penalty fee.
3. Students facing issues with tuition fee payments must attach proof of financial difficulties and email the PASUM admin.
SISWAMAIL
1. Can I change my SISWAMAIL username or password?

Only the password can be changed after login

1. Who can certify my document(s)?

List of Authorised Personnel:

Grade A Government Officers
Commissioner for Oaths
Principal/Headmaster/Assistant Principal
Elected Representatives
Village/Block/Condo Representatives
JKKK Chairman (Village Development & Security Committee)
Community Leader/Native Chief

Document Requirements:

✔️ Must be Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia

✔️ Official stamp must include name, position, and office address
