Introduction

The Special Preparatory Program to Enter Japanese Universities is a two-year intensive program under the Look East Policy Division of the Public Services Department of Malaysia, in cooperation with the Japanese Government, after which students will continue with their degree programs at universities in Japan.  At the end of the 4th semester, students in this program will sit for the EJU Examination for intake into Japanese Universities.

Some of the popular courses chosen by the successful candidates are as follows:

Engineering Discipline: Electric & electronic, electronic information, information communication, mechanical, mechanical system, system, information.

Science:  Physics, chemistry, mathematics, biotechnology.

Among the prominent Japanese Universities that have accepted students from this programme are Tokyo University, Kyushu University, Kyoto University, Nagoya University, Waseda University, Osaka University and Kobe University.

At the centre, the students will experience learning in a university learning environment and develop their self-esteem through the activities conducted by the Centre, residential college and the university as a whole.
