Centre for Foundation Studies in Science

Introduction

The Foundation in Physical Sciences Program is a full time Pre-University Program governed under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. The duration of the program is two (2) semesters. Upon completion of the program, successful students can apply for entrance into various science-based Degree programs in University Malaya or other local public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA) as listed below:

Engineering
Science
Science and Education
Computer Science
Information Technology

Architecture
Quantity Surveying
Building Surveying
Estate Management
Urban and Regional Planning

Entry Requirements

Open to Malaysian citizen with BUMIPUTERA status.
(Malay descendant, native of Sabah and Sarawak and indigenous folk of peninsular Malaysia)
Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least five (5) credits including Bahasa Melayu and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above).

Special Requirements

Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least grade as follows:

GRADE A–	Mathematics
