The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science (PASUM), Universiti Malaya, is committed to promoting academic excellence, research, innovation and knowledge dissemination, particularly in the fields of science, technology, mathematics and data-driven research. In support of this commitment, PASUM contributes to the publication and development of scholarly journals that provide platforms for researchers, academicians and practitioners to share knowledge and advance research in their respective fields.

International STEM Journal (ISJ)

The International STEM Journal (ISJ) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Malaya. The journal focuses on research and scholarly contributions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and STEM Education.

Established in 2020, ISJ was initiated through a collaboration involving the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Malaya STEM Centre and the National STEM Association of Malaysia. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating research, sharing innovative practices and promoting scholarly dialogue within the global STEM community.

ISJ publishes research articles and scholarly papers that contribute to the advancement of STEM knowledge, learning and education. The journal adopts a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of published works. It is published twice a year, in June and December, and welcomes contributions addressing contemporary issues and developments in STEM and STEM education.

The journal provides an academic platform for researchers and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research in statistical modeling and analytics.
